“What are we doing here?”

“You have a client waiting for you, Sir.”

“Why didn’t you inform me about this, Jasmine?” he whispered.

“I’m sorry about that, Sir. You’re too busy these past few days.”

After I said that, hindi siya nakapagsalita. I looked at the guy while he’s opening the case.

“I’m Mr. Watson’s representative and here’s the payment for the guns.”

“Damn that Watson. I told him to give it using the old way,” then he looked at me. “Ms. Jasmine, you can wait for me outside.”

“Maybe you should also smuggle drugs and guns to Italy,” the guy said.

“Shut your goddamn mouth!” then Sir slammed the table. “Jasmine! I said get out of here!”

“Oh. You don’t want your secretary to know your illegal activities, Mr. Elliot?”

I pressed my gun at his head.

“W-what is the meaning of this, Jasmine?”

“Being a secretary is not really suitable for you,” sabi nung lalaki sa akin.

“Well, thank you.”

“That’s not a compliment.”

“Jasmine...who...who...the hell are you?”  He looked at me with a horrified expression and I smiled in return.

  “A spy, Sir.”

He pointed his gun to me but I was faster. I already pulled the trigger. Tumalsik ‘yung dugo doon sa upuan niya pati sa sahig at nabitawan niya ‘yung baril.

“And my name is not Jasmine,” dagdag ko pa kahit alam kong di na niya ‘yun naririnig since he’s already dead.

“I told you not to kill him, Nel.”

“Sorry.”

I discovered it during my stay here as his secretary.

“Next target is at Philadelphia.

“That’s 15 miles away from here.”

“Where’s Jett?”

“He’s waiting for us outside.”

th floor kami since our shoes can absorb the impact and we’re trained to jump off buildings anyway. A few meters away from us ay nakapark ‘yung kotse at bumusina si Jett.

“You guys are late,” bati niya agad sa amin.

“Nel’s fault.”

“No it’s not,” I retorted.

“Abort your mission and go back to the headquarters immediately.”

“What?

“Because you’ll do a special task. I sent Blake’s team to continue your mission so give them the details. That’s all.”

“Wait, Dad!” “What do you mean? Why would we abort this mission?”

“I’ll tell you when you—”

“But Dad—”

“Penelope.”

Natahimik ako at napabuntung-hininga. Kapag tinawag na niya ako sa pangalan ko, alam ko na kaagad na this discussion is over. Tss.

“You’re going to the Philippines.”
