I have always been a fan of mythological stories, and penning one is one of my aspirations as a writer. After writing Babaylan, a historical-fiction novel that I had written a few years back, I was inspired to write a loose sequel that focuses on the deities of the Philippine mythology in the present time. Through a masterclass workshop hosted by Wattpad last 2021, I submitted the first part of this series, and luckily, it was selected as one of the stories that were eligible for the Paid Stories Program. I love writing, and I am incredibly lucky enough to be part of a program that can help writers earn money for their hard work. I am be forever grateful for the opportunities given to me, and for the endless encouragement from readers that motivated me to get better.
